Aadhar Mismatch Ke Wajah Se Mere Baap Ka 2 Lakh Claim Reject Huwa

Mere baap ne 10 saal se policy li thi Aadhar mein registered naam 'Rajesh Kumar' likha tha. Saal pehle unhe gall bladder surgery karani pad gayi. Hospital ne discharge summary mein 'R. Kumar' likha (billing system mein iska abbreviation use hota hai). Insurance wale ne kaha 'naam match nahi kar raha, fraudulent claim lag raha hai.' Samjhane ke liye call pe 30 min pada wait karte huye. Jab agent aaya toh kaha 'document kaatne padenge.' ₹2 lakh claim pending pad gaya. 3 mahine baad Aadhar photo affidavit banwaya, fir wapas documents submit kiye. Tab jake approve hua. Dono jagah se same person hi toh tha, bas system ko nahi samjhta tha

Hospital Overcharged for Consumables, TPA Didn't Notice

After a successful cashless surgery, I reviewed the final bill sent to the TPA. The hospital had charged excessively for standard items like gloves, syringes, and cotton. The total overcharge was nearly Rs. 15,000. The TPA (Vidal Health) had approved the bill without auditing it properly. I had to manually flag the items and fight for a correction.

A Surprisingly Smooth Experience with Medi Assist TPA

I was bracing for a nightmare after reading reviews, but my experience with Medi Assist for my mother's knee surgery was fantastic. The pre-authorization came through in just 2 hours. The hospital bill was settled directly, and I didn't have to follow up even once. It was a completely cashless and hassle-free process. Credit where it's due!

Claim Denied for 'Pre-Existing Condition' That Wasn't Pre-Existing

My father's claim for a cardiac issue was rejected by the insurer, who cited a 'pre-existing condition' of hypertension from 10 years ago. The current issue was completely unrelated, according to our doctor. It feels like they are just looking for any excuse to deny the claim. We are now in the process of a long and stressful appeal.
